GigaIO partners with Mushroom Networks to boost edge-to-edge AI connectivity with bonding tech

GigaIO has partnered with Mushroom Networks to address connectivity challenges between near-edge and far-edge computing environments. Mushroom Networks’ patented Broadband Bonding technology aggregates multiple wireless and wired connections—including Wi-Fi, cellular, private 5G, fibre, and satellite—into a single high-bandwidth link with automatic failover capabilities.

The partnership targets edge AI deployments where data connectivity is often the weakest element. By combining Mushroom Networks’ connectivity solution with GigaIO’s edge supercomputers, the collaboration aims to enable reliable data flow in manufacturing, field operations, and emergency deployments.

GigaIO’s products include Gryf, a carry-on suitcase-sized AI supercomputer, and Manticore, a half-rack-sized unit. Both are now available with Mushroom Networks connectivity options, offering what the companies describe as datacenter-class computing capabilities at the edge.T
