GigaIO said it is seeing increased interest, particularly from military and intelligence agencies, both in the US and overseas. The solution delivers an agile, secure-by-default, and completely autonomous agentic AI platform engineered to modernise military tactical and operational outcomes in the thick of operations.
NEW DELHI: Edge computing provider GigaIO said it has verified its “Gryf” and “Manticore” products for the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform and Nutanix Enterprise AI, which it said will enable organisations to deploy secure, cloud-native AI applications seamlessly.
“By packaging datacenter-class hardware into an airline-friendly, composable suitcase, organizations can deploy secure, cloud- native AI applications anywhere on earth,” it said.
GigaIO’s Gryf is a “carry-on suitcase-sized AI supercomputer“, built to offer datacenter-class computing. Manticore is a non-mobile, half-rack-sized unit.
The US-based company said Flywheel Data, an authorised reseller for GigaIO and Nutanix products, is ready to take the solution to the market and deploy it for customers.

“We are excited to work with Flywheel Data, a deeply experienced reseller for tactical and edge systems within DoW and Intelligence,” said GigaIO CEO Alan Benjamin. “This integration with Nutanix has been a highly requested integration from customers as they look to simplify their deployment and management of resources and coalesce around standard toolsets.”
Separately, GigaIO has partnered with Mushroom Networks to ensure robust, high-bandwidth connectivity — wireless, wired, or a combination of both — between GigaIO’s edge supercomputers and other compute infrastructure.
“Combining Mushroom’s intelligent connectivity with GigaIO’s edge compute power gives Manufacturing 4.0 and 5.0 environments a complete edge solution: process more data locally, and move it reliably when you need to,” said Mushroom Networks CEO Jay Akin.
