The GigaIO™ Accelerator Pooling Appliance is the industry’s highest performing PCIe accelerator appliance, which fully supports PCIe Gen5 with up to 2.048Tb/s total bandwidth dedicated to host server upstream connections.

Model RB5008 delivers advanced provisioning and monitoring of accelerators, supporting up to 8 double-wide PCIe Gen5 FHFL accelerator cards with up to 675W delivered to every slot.

This flexible expansion platform enables users to add any PCIe Gen5 application accelerators; including GPUs, FPGAs, IPUs, DPUs, thin NVMe servers and specialty AI chips. It also delivers a whopping 6400W of fully redundant power to feed even the most power-hungry accelerators.

Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure by dynamically provisioning and scaling PCIe devices

GigaIO’s AI fabric creates shared pools of PCIe devices in disaggregated GPU chassis connected by robust PCIe cables. Users can dynamically provision GPUs when needed and return them to the common pool when finished.

The advanced RESTful API interface provides complete centralized analytics such as GPU utilization and performance, as well as continuous monitoring for any faults for faster problem resolution and improved reliability.

Designed from the ground up for enterprise data center deployment

In addition to continuous monitoring and control of the accelerators, should a device fail, it is essential to provide fast, easy and intuitive serviceability.

Coupled with independent card power control and redundant power supplies and fans, this appliance is the perfect answer for disaggregating essential accelerators into optimized chassis for efficient power & thermal needs.

Niraj Mathur

Niraj has over 20 years of industry experience in strategic and product marketing, product management, business development, customer applications and advanced silicon engineering. He has held senior leadership roles and led global, cross-functional teams to support these disciplines. Niraj was instrumental in driving numerous successful networking products at Nortel Networks, Quake Technologies, AppliedMicro, Snowbush, Gennum, Semtech and Rambus. He has defined, developed and supported carrier grade hardware and software for the world’s leading telecom, enterprise and cloud customers. His past projects include Ethernet PHYs, core Internet switches, metro optical routers, high-speed silicon IPs and PCI Express products. Niraj holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from Cornell University.
